Senior Associate, Legal & Trust Management

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Trust Management team on a full-time basis

Purpose of the role:

This role assists the Assistant Manager, Legal Services division with the legal services operations.

Scope:

The main objective of this role is to assist the Assistant Manager and work within an internal legal services regulatory team providing in-house legal support and operation to the broader Group and assisting with drafting and vetting documents from various businesses within the Group.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting with the day-to-day operations such as making annual regulatory filings, attending and taking minutes for the Group’s board meeting as and when required, attending to research, drafting and vetting request from the Group; keeping abreast of technical developments in various regulatory compliance matters for example, economic substance, CRS FATCA, EU General Data Protection Regulation etc and preparing internal guidance for the team; maintaining records both in hard copies and on electronic databases

• Collaborative team-player with experience in working in a dynamic organization and able to build bridges between different stakeholders within the organization. Having a hands-on and positive attitude towards solving problems.
• Requires attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box.
• Culturally sensitive and experienced in dealing with multiple nationalities, business cultures.

Relevant experience:

• At least 1 year post-qualified experience as a solicitor.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets

Education/Professional Qualifications:

• Degree in Law and Certificate in Legal Practice (or equivalent)
