Independent Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Independent Accountant to join our outsourcing team. This full-time and permanent position is based in Prague. In this role, you will handle client accounting tasks independently, managing everything from bookkeeping to financial reporting and tax compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounting processes for your assigned clients, without the need for constant supervision.  For this role we require good level of Czech and English language skills. 

Key responsibilities:

• Independently managing accounting processes for assigned clients
  • Processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and payments
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Managing payroll and tax filings
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of financial data
• Communicating directly with clients regarding their financial requirements and resolving any accounting-related issues
• Collaborating with the internal team and clients to meet project deadlines
• Assisting with the implementation of new accounting tools or processes when needed

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations
• Proficiency MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Previous experience in outsourced accounting is a plus
