We are seeking a talented and motivated Group Head of Tax and Treasury to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this full-time and permanent position is based in Singapore.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

This is a key role that will require a strategic thinker with both strong technical expertise and a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. The GHTT will be expected to bring hands-on, best-in-practice and solutions-orientated experience to the role, with key responsibilities including:

 

  • To develop and communicate the Group’s funding, tax and treasury strategies, policies and processes.
  • To service and support the CFO, the Board, the Audit & Risk Committee and Minority Investors.
  • To provide and present financial information as required to the Board and Exco and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage relationships and communications with banks, lenders, credit rating agencies and tax advisors.
  • To ensure obligations within the Group’s funding credit agreements are adhered to.
  • To ensure a sound system of internal control and risk management, setting policy and providing leadership for all tax-related matters across all of the Group’s legal entities and operations.
  • Developing the tax-function to enhance Group accountability and ensure fit-for-future, centralising activities and documentation where possible.
  • Delivering tax efficiencies and demonstrating cash-tax savings across the business.
  • Developing and implementing transfer pricing practices and policies, including the roll-out of Pillar 2 global minimum tax compliance.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities across the different jurisdictions and lead any tax audits or correspondence.
  • Responsible for cash and liquidity management, including cash repatriation and funding plans.
  • Continually develop and improve the overall cash management process through improved processes, use of technology (Kyriba Treasury Management System in particular), and use of corporate banks’ solutions.
  • Manage all intercompany and external funding needs.
  • Establish and maintain core banking relationships.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience across both Tax & Treasury functions.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an equivalent role within a comparably sized multinational organization.
  • Proven track record of success working across geographically and culturally diverse organizations.
  • Experience in a group-wide position responsible for designing and rolling out global initiatives.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive structural improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior executives and external partners.
  • Experience managing relationships with tax authorities, auditors, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba) and ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA) preferred.
  • Experience within corporate services, fund administration, or similar financial services is an advantage.
