We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Global Product Lead, Tax & Statutory Accounting. Reporting to the Global Director - Tax & Statutory Accounting Solutions, this full-time and permanent position is based in UK and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Advisory Department and it’s growth.


Purpose of Role                                  


Owner of Vistra product roadmap for Tax & Statutory Accounting with a view towards improving alignment to customer needs, quality, efficiency and digitization (working with Commercial Technology). This individual will have responsibility for the organization meeting global Tax & Statutory Accounting-level revenue targets by ensuring that products are fit for purpose and evolve to meet customer and delivery needs.




Responsible for global product roadmap for designated product, working closely with Solution Directors and Marketing to shape the proposition. Also collaborates closely with Service Delivery and Commercial Technology to ensure that the product is appropriately delivered to clients.


Key Responsibilities:              




  • Gather key market local office TSAS data, including on clients, teams, core service offering and existing products
  • Existing key market client & TSAS teams ‘Whitespace project’, including segregating TSAS products and teams
  • Gather market / customer insights through research, customer interview, and the sales / service team to identify areas for product improvement and evolution
  • Evaluate product market share and opportunity globally and in top target countries
  • Develop the product roadmap to ensure customer and delivery requirements are clearly met
  • Work with Technology to document ‘as is’ TSAS client-facing-technology in key markets - create 18-36 month ‘base level’ Technology plan / 5 year complete Technology vision
  • Coordinate with local Commercial and TSAS teams to ensure pricing matches product value and market positioning in key markets & globally
  • Build country-level ACV and revenue targets for TSAS product and rationalise with solutions and total growth goals
  • Work with Operations to review country-level TSAS teams – as regards skill & experience levels to focus on TSAS growth across both compliance & TSAS advisory




  • Create comprehensive business cases for new product/feature development with identified outcomes
  • Conduct product, delivery, and technology based voice of customer as needed
  • Work with other Subject Matter Experts to ensure deep technical understanding of TSAS products that can be easily translated and conveyed to customers and internal sales resources
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations and Sales & Customer Success to track product results to identify risks to product sales and revenue plan
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery to understand where there are improvements / gaps to the market
  • Coordinate with Learning & Development to ensure the proper curriculum and testing is in place to guarantee Vistra sellers have the necessary understanding of the TSAS product
  • Partner with Technology on developing TSAS Technology in accordance with plan
  • Review content created by Content Marketing Manager for use in product campaigns
  • Work with Operations to ensure country-level TSAS teams in place to deliver on TSAS work within Quality & Risk framework
  • Ensure TSAS teams maintain appropriate awareness of TSAS related global regulatory change, with Product Lead identifying and commercializing such changes where appropriate


Attributes/ Technical Skills:                




  • Strong corporate product knowledge within the field of tax and statutory accounting or co-sec advisory
  • Effective strategic planning skills
  • Strong industry and customer knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong ability to develop and convey value proposition for the product




  • Experience managing service-based products (i.e. non-technological)


Relevant Experience:              




  • Previous experience in a Product Lead role within designated product area


Education and Professional Qualification:                             




  • Relevant business qualification or degree, e.g., Business Studies, MBA, Marketing or Sales
