We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in UK and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance and it’s growth.

 

Position Description                       

UK Finance Analyst will be responsible for data management, financial insight through data extraction in SAP, and reporting against agreed KPIs. Support the UK Finance Team with delivery of sound financial information to facilitate decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities

                       

  • Effective data management and data validation to support accurate month end reporting
  • Timely resolution of system/data issues that impact the financial statements
  • Work with the Operations and Finance team to identify problems and solutions to promote the consistent and efficient use of SAP
  • Play a pivotal role in the finance transformation programme with continuous improvement approach towards use of SAP/Salesforce/SAC
  • Develop new reports to monitor and report against agreed KPIs
  • Support the UK Finance Team with delivery of sound financial information to facilitate decision making
  • Assist with audit queries, working with the FC/FD
  • Support the delivery of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Involvement in other ad hoc projects

           

Relevant Experience & Skills         

                       

  • Experience of working with senior decision makers in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven analytical background
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to rapidly interpret, concisely explain and act on complex financial information
  • Experience of financial systems (specifically SAP experience advantageous)
  • Experience with Power BI is desirable
  • You will be a confident communicator and team player
  • Strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • An accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) is desirable but not essential, but should be able to demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience within a financial services or professional services organisation desirable
