We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Director – Treasury Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Product, Global, this full-time and permanent position is based in United Kingdom, London and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Product Organisation, Corporates department and it’s growth.
Purpose of Role
- Responsible for developing and managing Vistra Treasury solutions to meet current and anticipated customer needs.
- This role will be the primary solution owner working alongside Product Management, Commercial, Technology, Product Marketing, and Service Delivery to ensure solution alignment to market needs and ultimately achievement of results.
- This role will also conduct market planning and market intelligence, set price positioning strategy, and have a deep understanding of the end-to-end client experience.
Scope
- Ultimately responsible for Banking and Treasury across the globe.
- Usually has one or more direct reports (pre-sales) and collaborates closely with the Product Managers across Global and Fund Solutions, to shape the Treasury solution and product mix.
- Also collaborates closely with Commercial, Service Delivery, Commercial Technology and Senior Marketing leads to ensure solution alignment to market needs.
- Manage and be responsible for a small team who deliver the Treasury service to clients.
- Contribute to the profitability and financial performance of the Service.
- Be responsible for the creation and meeting of Service Level Agreements (SLA), plus the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to monitor performance against them for the Service.
Key Responsibilities
Plan:
- Maintain an understanding of the market landscape to adequately inform portfolio strategy decisions through voice of customer and competitive intelligence
- Translate market knowledge into one - three year product plans in partnership with Product Manager(s),Commercial & Technology.
- Co-plan with Product Marketing Manager to translate solution positioning into the value proposition messaging for each buyer type associated with solutions and identify annual campaign calendars.
- Conduct market planning to set growth targets by solution by country.
- Collaborate with the Territories & Quota Manager to ensure quotas and territories are set equitably and aligned to solution / product forecasts.
- Review Subject Matter Expert capacity and requirements to plan staffing needs for the next fiscal period.
Execute:
- Update and communicate a solution roadmap inclusive of launch timelines to ensure smooth coordination with service delivery’s ability to meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations to forecast expected solution portfolio performance on a monthly and quarterly basis to diagnose any performance issues.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery to understand where there are improvements / gaps to the market.
- Review content created by Content Marketing Manager for use in solution-based campaigns.
- Manage Subject Matter Expert deployment, workload, and impact to sales funnel metrics.
- Performance manage SME team.
Attributes/Technical Skills
Senior relationships / engagement with Banks, EMIs & financial Tech Cos:
• Existing breadth of strong relations with the above.
• Demonstrable evidence of negotiating partnerships with the above.
• Demonstrable evidence of building and maintaining new relations with the above.
Banking and Payment technology & protocols:
- Deep understanding of the above; & ability to hold ‘ones-own’ in solution development & client engagement.
Product development & sales:
- Deep understanding of designated solution area and global corporate services industry
- Demonstrable evidence of assembling a banking & payment platform / ecosystem.
- Demonstrable evidence of creation of & delivery against product development roadmap.
- Product pricing & forward pricing strategy experience.
- Evidence of developing client journeys, roadmaps, G2M & marketing strategies; and sales strategies & plans
General:
• Strong knowledge of inter-dependent roles and how to leverage these to maximum effect.
• Familiarity with customer base.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective working across the globe.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Knowledge of value proposition principles and deployment.
Relevant Experience
Essential
- Significant experience in a global senior level solution/product management role within corporate services or related industries
Education and Professional Qualification
• Degree level qualification such as economics, finance, business or math-related discipline.
• Other qualifications might include MBA, CIM, CPSL.
