We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Director, Team Leader, Private Client, based in our Vistra, Hong Kong office.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1.  Financial:
    • Hold P&L responsibility, ensuring the delivery of annual target and long term business plan
  2.  Commercial:
    • Attend and participate in internal or external networking or technical events as PW Asia senior representative
  3. Clients:
    • Maintain and develop a portfolio of ongoing client relationship, with a view to identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of client’s lifecycle
    • Drive Net Promoter Survey (NPS) improvement – ensure client feedback is regularly received and addressed to drive superior service
  4.  Service Delivery and Operations:
    • Deliver a full suite of trust and corporate services to clients while working in “One Vistra” close partnership - via intra-collaboration with PW Asia teams and inter-collaboration with Vistra sectors, in particular the Corporate Services and Company Formations Teams
    • Deliver full suite of trust and corporate services to clients
    • Conduct regular review, analysis and improvement of PW business operations and performance
    • Efficient and effective leadership and management of various PW and Group initiatives and projects
    • Drafting and vetting of SOPs, Policies and Procedures, Guidance and Checklists alongside business evolution and operationalisation
    • Liaise with shared service centre to drive GSC adoption, and ensure quality and responsiveness levels meet prevailing criteria and agree remedial action if required.
    • Serve as Resident Manager and Director for the licenced trust company; and Authorised Signatory of PW Asia related entities
  1. Partnership with Functions:
    • Work closely with Functional Heads to ensure adequate support for the team overall, enabling the functional agenda and meeting local targets in functional areas such as Finance, HR, Technology, Compliance and Marketing.
  2.  Regulatory and Corporate Governance:
    • Comply with jurisdictional, Vistra Group and PW internal controls and audit standards
    • Ensure full and timely compliance with all prevailing regulatory requirements
  3.  People:
    • Responsible for driving and improving overall employment engagement within the team
    • Ensure all employees are actively engaged in the Vistra performance management process with prompt actions taken to reduce underperformance
    • Promote the development of talent by coaching and mentoring of the TRM  leadership team, and monitoring development of high potential junior staff
    • Conduct training and development for wider staff where appropriate

 

Key requirements:

 

  • At least 10 years’ experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, or private wealth management, with proven client portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge of trust structures, fiduciary duties, regulatory requirements, and governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with UHNW clients, family offices, and intermediaries.
  • Prior leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, mentoring, and developing a team.
  • Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management, communication, and client service skills.
  • High integrity, professional judgment, and resilience under pressure.
