We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as DevOps Engineer. Reporting to the Lead of Department, this full-time and permanent position is based in Poland (remote) and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operations and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, develop and support the Viewpoint application
  • System maintenance: This includes but not limited to
  • Software Installation
  • System Upgrade Deployment & Testing
  • Promotion of changes (configuration or new) across the different environments
  • Configuration Management: Ensure all configuration items are
  • Effectively developed & deployed
  • centrally managed, tracked and avoid configuration drift. 
  • Fulfil BAU and project tasks. This includes but not limited to
  • Performing system back up and restores.
  • Perform system configuration in Viewpoint
  • Support Environment refreshes
  • Develop and execute SQL scripts.
  • Provide support to infrastructure and technology teams during patching and upgrading.
  • Work with Vendors projects to facilitate migrations and deduplication of data.
  • Develop and document standard working practices

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Collaborate with Development team, QA team, Scrum Master to ensure seamless service delivery and implement DevOps best practices & processes
  • Ability to understand business requirements and communicate outcomes in nontechnical terms to team members.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure team to ensure that the system components are running smoothly and efficiently

 

SDLC / Sprint process: This includes both BAU and project

  • Drive and deliver on data migration projects, onboarding of new clients/business acquisitions, system rationalisation
  • Deliver on BAU new business requirement or enhancement requests via Agile
  • Support Quality Acceptance process
  • Support User Acceptance Testing with end users and IT

 

Key requirements:

 

Relevant Experience and Skills: 

  • Strong Technical Expertise:  Direct knowledge of Viewpoint and in Entity Management, Document Management System, Time Recording, Invoicing/Accounting.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, DevOps practices.
  • DevOps Experience: Demonstrated track record in DevOps role
  • Client Service Knowledge: Knowledge of the entity management client service offering, products, operational processes, and controls is a plus.
  • Change management: Ability to drive and operate within a multinational and matrixed financial services group with controls
  • Planning and Organization: Effective planning and organizational skills to manage tasks while working on your own or as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute meaningfully to challenge the business requirements and technical specifications when necessary

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of databases and supporting applications.
  • Development Practices: Good level of familiarity with standard development practices and processes.
  • Experienced knowledge of MS-SQL and RDS, experience in developing scripts and processes to meet business requirements.
  • Global Experience: Direct experience of working with global technical teams and applications in a services-based organization.
  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and oral English.

                                        

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field or comparable working experience.
