We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Compliance Monitoring and Testing Specialist. Reporting to the manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Poland (Warsaw/Lublin) and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our compliance department and its’ growth. 

 

Purpose of Role: 

Vistra’s mission is to make operating globally feel borderless and frictionless for its clients. You will support Vistra’s mission by being part of Vistra’s Compliance Centre of Excellence in Poland where you will provide advice and guidance to first line of defence teams, monitor and report on compliance issues and conduct training and awareness programs to help ensure that Vistra complies with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies. 

 

Scope:

  • Ensures that Vistra adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies through systematic testing and monitoring

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Performing compliance tests on various business processes and systems
  • Analysing test results to identify compliance issues and areas of improvement
  • Documenting and report findings to relevant stakeholders, providing recommendation for corrective actions.
  • Assisting in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations 
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
  • Providing support to staff on compliance related matters

 

Be Accountable To:

  • Senior Management for supporting in mitigation of potential issues before they escalate, 

  • Relevant stakeholders for providing metrics and data that help management to understand the effectiveness of compliance controls and process. 

  • The Director of Compliance Quality for leading and developing their skills and expertise.
     


People Management:

  • Manage or liaise closely with other Compliance Centre of Excellence team members in a professional team fashion including other teams and their management

  • Display behaviours such as flexibility to the changing needs of the business and communicating clearly and effectively to the various teams involved in initiatives

 

Peer and Stakeholder Relationship:

  • Provide regular communication between business resources, stakeholders & management

  • Facilitate workshops and other forums in the identification and resolution of complex issues or new opportunities

  • Contribute and participate in team activities, e.g., meetings, planning, goal setting

  • Provide support to other team members in both debriefing and assisting in delivery of outputs

  • Coach and mentor resources assigned to initiatives and communicate expectations; plan, monitor and appraise results

  • Any other duties that from time to time may be considered appropriate by your line manager

 

Key Requirements

  • University degree (Master's degree strongly preferred) in finance, business, law or related field

  • 2-4 years’ experience in compliance, auditing or related field

  • Analytical mindset and ability to leverage data for process improvement and strategic decision-making

  • Able to analyse data and statistical models

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Working knowledge of analytical and reporting tools like Excel, Power Point etc

  • Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) systems

  • Proficient in English. Other languages are a plus
