We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Commercial Sales Manager. Reporting to the EVP, Customer Success, Global, this full-time and permanent position is based in the UK or Europe and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporate Department and it’s growth.
Job Overview
Lead, optimize, and scale the sales operations function to support a high-performing sales team of 10 to 18 representatives selling international expansion services to clients in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East. This executive will oversee tools, processes, and data analytics to drive operational efficiency, improve sales productivity, and ensure revenue growth. This role is critical in bridging strategy and execution through insights, enabling the team to consistently exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Develop and manage annual and quarterly sales forecasts, quotas, and other KPI’s relevant to sales performance.
• Design territory and account allocation models to maximize market coverage and opportunities.
Operational Leadership
• Create and maintain a robust infrastructure in Salesforce to deliver timely, actionable reports, dashboards, and leaderboards.
• Standardize and continuously improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve the customer journey, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, Onboarding, and client services.
Data Management and Reporting
• Ensure Salesforce and related CRM tools are properly configured, maintained, and used effectively by all sales representatives.
• Provide ongoing reporting, including pipeline analysis, win rates, country & product trends, and sales rep performance metrics.
• Design leaderboards to motivate and recognize top performers, while maintaining fairness and transparency.
Sales Enablement
• Partner with sales leadership to identify training needs and deploy solutions for onboarding and upskilling the team.
• Implement and manage tools that support sales solutions presentations, and proposals.
• Develop and enforce playbooks, workflows, and documentation to standardize sales execution.
• Work with local offices and Sourcing to ensure country solutions are properly vetted to include all locally required services.
Revenue Optimization
• Conduct deep-dive analytics to identify gaps and opportunities in revenue performance.
• Monitor and report on deal velocity and identify bottlenecks for process improvement.
• Work with Department Heads and SME’ s to ensure we are capturing all required services for client solutions as appropriate to limit revenue leakage
Team Management and Development
• Manage a team of sales operations specialists, analysts, and administrators to deliver on strategic priorities.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Act as a mentor and advisor to sales leaders, providing insights and recommendations to elevate team performance.
