We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Client Services Administrator. Reporting to the Head of Central Business Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Department and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with a wide range of client administrative tasks
  • Provide Transfer Agency administrative duties to a portfolio of clients.
  • Process investor transactions and distribute contract notes and statements to investors
  • Attend to day-to-day queries and issues of investors
  • Perform cash reconciliation for client accounts
  • Process wires for investments/redemptions and expenses on a regular basis.
  • Assist in preparing monthly statistics/KPI for Senior Management
  • Interact closely with several service providers and transaction counterparties
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and adherence with relevant administration procedure
  • Participate in ad hoc projects or matters

 

Key requirements

 

Attributes & Skills:

  • Good communication and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and flexible with a client-oriented attitude
  • Excellent MS office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Capability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Have a methodical approach with attention to detail, be able to quickly assess and act on changing priorities
  • Familiarity with fund structures would be an added advantage.
  • Quick learning ability to new systems and operational procedures
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team
  • Previous working knowledge in transfer agency systems would be an added advantage
  • Able to work UK hours

 

Relevant experience:

  • At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar sector

 

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Degree in Management, Accounting, Law and Finance or other related qualifications
