Business Analyst Client Onboarding

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Analyst-Client Onboarding. Reporting to the Program Manager – Operational Excellence, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operational Excellence team in Mumbai and its growth.

Purpose of Role                               

This role leads and executes Client Onboarding Implementation Improvement projects, identifying areas for enhancement, streamlining processes, workflows, and eliminating waste, as well as responding to changes coming from external sources (ie. regulatory, policy or procedural change). Leveraging Lean principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the Client Onboarding Program, Service Implementation operate at their highest potential.

Scope                        

Client Onboarding – Operations Teams in EU, Asia & US, CoE located at Global Service Centres. No direct reports but will be required to lead working groups within the programs workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the end-to-end project activities in relation to Client

Onboarding focusing on Global Process Standarisation & Optimisation, Reporting and Solution Implementation.

This includes:

• Ensure adherence to Vistra’s change framework, governance, project management standards from concept through to post-delivery.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Compliance/Legal and Operations to support the build of new ways of working including supporting applications.
• Lead & facilitate process workshops with stakeholders from various functions across the organisation to capture / refine / finalise processes, identify bottlenecks, application requirements ensuring that outcomes are streamlined and in line with organisational OGSM’s.
• Work with stakeholders to progress concepts into project proposals and project proposals into value added outcomes
• Drive fact based analysis to identify insights on areas of business priority, wasted efforts and opportunities for process efficiency
• Analyse, validate and document business requirements ensuring that the requirements map to the business need being addressed. Ensure the analysis is approved by all the appropriate stakeholders and that they meet with relevant quality standards.
• Identify and facilitate quick win initiatives for early adoption so that benefits can start to be realised.
• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Provide QA and user acceptance testing documentation and support
• Provide handover and training documentation
• Communicate key insights to stakeholders
• Support the implementation and post implementation of business solutions
• Complete ad-hoc assignments as directed

Attributes/Technical Skills

• 5+ years of work experience in a Business Analyst capacity
• Strong experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen), continuous improvement and business process reengineering
• A detail-oriented mindset, highly organised with a commitment to excellence and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Experienced in change and improvement projects including process mapping and process re-design and implementation
• Self-driven and highly motivated individual, solution oriented and able to work independently
• Able to overcome adversity/resistance to change and influence others to drive the highest results
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively liaising between teams and ensuring comprehensive understanding across departments and working closely with senior stakeholders across Vistra, both on and offshore
• Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with distinctive communication skills and high interpersonal competence, high motivation, and positive work attitude

• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across various functions in the organisation
• Capability to proactively figure out next steps and break through stalemate situations
• Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and motivate a team
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in written and oral English

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Proficient in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

OTHERS:

• Any other duties that from time to time may be considered appropriate by your Line Manager

Education and Professional Qualification                       

ESSENTIAL:

• 5+ years of work experience in Business Analyst Capacity

DESIRABLE:

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
