We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Analyst. Reporting to the Director, this full-time and 1 Year Contract position is based in Hong Kong and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operation Excellence and its’ growth.

 

This role will support the migration of processes in Country to the Global Service Centre (GSCs). The primary responsibility of this role is to document current processes, identify improvement opportunities and facilitate the process reengineering or the migration to GSCs.(Global Services Centre) 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Support the end-to-end project activities in relation to Process Improvement or Migration of process to the GSC. This includes:

 

Process Review & Documentation:

 

  • Collaborate with operations to build a process inventory (current and target state) for the in-scope processes.
  • Work with operations to identify opportunities to improve, migrate &/or embed processes & roles to Global Service Centre
  • Lead & facilitate process mapping workshops with Operations to capture As Is processes, current procedures, systems, and controls.
  • Design To Be Process including hand offs between GSC’s and In Country Operations, elimination of non-value-added activities, requirements for systems, controls, pre-requisites, templates and check lists.
  • Document processes as per process excellence governance & framework and ensure they are aligned with quality standards.
  • Ensure that documentation and training materials are updated and in line with the defined To Be processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Plan and implement process improvement and operational efficiency projects through business process reengineering, reinforce controls and establish a roadmap for longer term initiatives.

 

Change Management / Migration Support:

 

  • Work closely with operational owners and key functional stakeholders to implement approved To Be processes and maximize efficiencies.
  • Support change management activities related to process improvement, migration, including planning & preparation, stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Coordinate work shadowing & training, track completion of training, identify training gaps where additional training or support is needed and remediate the identified training gaps.
  • Track process migration progress and Benefits realisation.
  • Identify potential risks and barriers to successful process migration and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor information and trends to ensure process performance are achieving results and that services meet service levels.

 

Project Support:

 

  • Identify issues/risks, dependencies and participate in problem resolution
  • Maintain project plans, schedules and update latest status
  • Support project meetings by preparing relevant material and documenting outputs
  • Manage project execution proactively and take ownership of project deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards and templates
  • Serve as a change agent and contribute to the continuous improvement culture

Key requirements

 

  • 5+ years of work experience in a Project Management/Business Analyst capacity, with some Finance, Payroll or Accounting project experience
  • Strong experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen), continuous improvement and business process reengineering
  • Experienced in change and improvement projects including process mapping and process re-design and implementation
  • Have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of business processes such as Accounting, Payroll and Payment is advantageous
  • Able to overcome adversity/resistance to change and influence others to drive the highest results
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment
  • Very good team player with distinctive communication skills and high interpersonal competence, high motivation, and positive work attitude
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across various functions in the organisation
  • Capability to proactively figure out next steps and break through stalemate situations
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and motivate a team
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in written and oral English
