Senior Accountant

Job description:

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to Client handling, local tax compliance and monthly closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the daily work
• Reviewing the bookkeeping and the compilation of tax returns
• Reviewing and preparing the monthly and quarterly reports in different GAAP's
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Represent the Client during tax inspections
• Daily written and verbal communication with customers

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' of professional accounting experience (preferred in accounting outsourcing)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian regulations (accounting and taxation).
• Hungarian and English knowledge on a communication level
