Our opportunity for you:

 

Vistra is currently looking to recruit a Tax Administrator to join our well established team on Tax Advisory experts based in the Bristol area. We are Looking for a well organised individual who is keen to pursue a career in finance to aid in the day to day administration and smooth running of a high value team.

 

Purpose of the role:

Providing administrative support to the Global International Tax Advisory team across the UK & US to deliver operational administrative support across the business & tax advisory life cycle. Working to embed Tax Advisory systems and good practice that reflect Vistra values.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting Tax Advisory team at all levels in the maintenance of and adherence to existing sound internal governance framework – including as regards our processes and technology
  • Support team across full prospect & client Tax Advisory lifecycle, including:
    • Business development tracking
    • Sales process tracking & finalisation
    • Engagement process
    • Client project & deliverable matters tracking & finalisation logging/recording
    • SAP – ERP billing process
  • Assisting team leads to monitor work load, team members’ utilisation/capacity, response to enquiries; ideally contributing suggestions and taking some responsibility for devising the best ways to do this
  • Maintain Tax Advisory management systems and ensure Tax Advisory deliverables/data are maintained in SharePoint
  • Assistance with PowerPoint presentation preparation for internal & external presentations/webinars
  • Administering periodic administrative duties
  • A proactive contributor towards Tax Advisory initiatives – supporting team leads in driving the team and ensuring adherence to allocated tasks
  • other duties, as may be required from time to time commensurate with the level of the role

  • Able to work with limited supervision, to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

 

Relevant experience:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and providing strong support across a number of different jurisdictions. Experience within a Global team would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a similar role i.e. Professional Services team / client Administrator
  • Experience working with Professional Services information systems and excellent skills required with Microsoft Office applications

 

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Ideally level of Tax process awareness or Professional Service client lifecycle – but ability to learn, build and own processes and contribute to the wider team.
