Our opportunity for you:
Vistra US is currently recruiting for a Payroll ORM.
Purpose of Role:
To link strategy to delivery excellence. Using Service Delivery knowledge & expertise to implement 3 key business strategies. These strategies will require identifying who will need to be involved, and what their departments will need to do to deliver the initiatives. The ability to add organisational understanding of culture and other people factors, the role will coordinate:
- A Service Delivery Excellence Model . developing a global program where global standards are implemented in every Vistra office. These standards developed to ensure a basic principle of Business continuity is put in place and can be supported by a network of global resources able to support both within there area of expertise (country level understanding of Payroll, Plus management skill sets to support other countries where necessary)
- Regional Onboarding. Support the set up of new clients by coordinating regional activity to the agreed timescales
- Own Specific Global Payroll clients relationship and service management
The role will require building deep domain understanding of local office capability. Having the ability to offer guidance and support in building both service quality and long term capability resilience.
Scope:
The position will be within the Originating Markets traditional Relationship Management business units but reporting to the Director of Global Client Payroll and / or key Global Resources. The primary role will require strong client engagement, strong Global Delivery Knowledge and understanding, internal stakeholder management and strong communication skills across many differing cultures.
The role will require a strong background in Global Payroll Delivery. Understanding how to develop and implement Global Standards that ensures both delivery resilience and managing risk mitigation strategies when issue arise.
In times of ‘Crisis’ this role ill become the Single point of contact for both internal and client stakeholders. So a ‘cool head’ under pressure is necessary to assist in local recovery of under performance whilst providing client communication of resolution activity and next steps.
Key Responsibilities:
- At a regional level build a network of support and communication processes to ensure remote country teams are able to be supported, coached and mentored
- Develop a standard global target operating model for the Vistra Payroll Office
- Develop a deep domain understanding of local capability. Building a strong working relationship to support both local and global business needs
- Build a strong communication methodology to ensure effective communication to key stakeholders
- Be able to provide confidence in local service delivery by offering insights into local capability / capacity planning and risk mitigation as the payroll business grows
- Own specific payroll clients (Large Payroll Only Clients) ensuring high levels of service quality
- Manage projects to timescales
- Interaction with IT, external providers including:
- Challenge, validation, and support of solutions/designs proposed
- Monitoring quality/fitness for purpose of developments
- Mentoring & staff development
- Working with Project Managers to identify and mitigate Issues & risks
- Reporting & escalation of concerns & issues and develop necessary plans to mitigate including developing a clear ‘business continuity strategy across all agreed regional locations
- Work closely with ALL client facing resources to ensure client issues are understood and proactive action taken
Attributes/Technical Skills
- Self-organization / time management:
- Organized and executes tasks within the defined timeframe,
- Delivers outstanding work to tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload,
- Pays attention to detail and delivers high quality work products.
- Strong Communication skills: presents and communicates effectively
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant environment including experience as Service Manager
- Ideally 10+ of payroll / HR experience working in a client-facing environment, with a good track record of delivering against client requests.
- Ideally 10+ years of experience in an operations related environment, with a prove ability to deliver cost effective solutions and service design
Relevant Experience
- Global Payroll Delivery Expertise
- Experience building relationships and gaining credibility with all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated experience with working with diverse operational teams
- Experience in relationship management, including partnering with internal partners
Education and Professional Qualification
- English plus suitable local language skills an advantage
- Proficient in Payroll Services
