We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate - Valuation Analyst (AIFM) based in our Vistra International Expansion (India) Private Limited. reporting to Manager this full-time and permanent position is based in Indore/ Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our GSC operations department and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- This role assists the Valuation Team to comply with their key responsibilities: Validation of the fund’s investment values and NAV oversight.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry of valuation models, Net Asset Value (NAV); Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting up reports, performing tests, and ensuring data integrity. Knowledge of valuation models is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Inputting valuation models with precision and accuracy.
- Entering Net Asset Value (NAV) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into databases or spreadsheets.
- Setting up reports based on predefined templates or specifications.
- Ensuring the correct data is reflected in reports.
- Conducting tests to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues encountered during testing.
- Maintaining data integrity by verifying and validating entered data.
- Performing regular checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborating with team members to streamline data input processes.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand data requirements and priorities.
- Monitor the timely delivery of NAVs to shareholders, ensuring adherence to predefined deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address any delays or issues impacting NAV delivery.
Key requirements
- The incumbent should be MBA, CA/CMA Inter, Postgraduate with 0-2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
- Fluency in Written and spoken English
- Ready to work in a European time-zone environment.
- Strong understanding of NAV calculation methodologies and familiarity with fund structures and investment instruments.
- Previous experience in NAV oversight, fund accounting, or similar roles within the asset management industry.
- Knowledge of valuation models is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing NAV calculations (e.g., AIFMD, UCITS) is a plus.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, third parties and intermediaries
- Proven experience in data entry or related roles.
- Anticipate potential queries and issues. Address these queries in a timely manner by informing the responsible Manager and/or any other Vistra officer
- Build up an in-depth knowledge of your portfolio of clients and valuation methodologies used for various structures
