We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, Corporate, based in Malta office. This full-time and permanent position is based in Malta and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Private Wealth and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

Clients and Commercial

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with UBOs, clients, family offices and business introducers
  • Being the main point of contact for a selected portfolio of UBOs, clients and others, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Critically analysing proposed transactions from a legal, tax and corporate perspective, and providing tailored solutions where necessary
  • Managing and overseeing the execution of client transactions or restructuring projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations
  • Advising the board of directors on client transactions
  • Reviewing/drafting commercial, corporate and corporate governance documentation
  • Administering legal and trust structures, including the formation and dissolution of legal entities predominantly in Malta and handling other ancillary formalities
  • Assisting the client relationship team with accounting and tax-related matters
  • Responsible for AEoI assessment and reporting
  • Responsible for the performance (quality and quantity) of direct reportees in order to optimise performance
  • Coordinating with client accounting team to resolve issues and enhancing the client experience
  • Collecting the necessary KYC and CDD documentation and information and ensuring that all client files are in order from an AML/CFT perspective
  • Managing client databases
  • Other related duties as may from time to time be reasonably required

 

Service Delivery

  • Working closely with the client relationship team and client accounting team to deliver impeccable service to clients

 

Regulatory and Corporate Governance

  • To keep informed of developments in local legislation and regulations vis-à-vis compliance, including but not limited to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (incl. subsidiary legislation) and the Implementing Procedures
  • To comply with all local regulatory and AML/CFT requirements
  • To keep informed of and comply with all policies and procedures
  • To comply with Group policies relevant to the role and provide the mandatory Group Annual Assurance
  • To report suspicious transactions to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer
  • To perform mandatory Group training that may be required from time to time
  • To uphold values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and equality

Relevant experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience working within the TCSP, accounting, tax or audit sectors, with direct exposure to tax advisory
  • Proven track record of managing portfolios of entities ultimately owned by UHNW families
  • Direct operational experience of international structures and private clients
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce  in Accounting (Hons) / ACCA Qualification
