We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate, Tax Services. Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Indonesia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Service and Delivery team and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform tax calculations for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax regulations;
- Manage monthly tax closing processes, including tax reporting, reconciliation, and compliance reviews;
- Prepare and review tax returns for all tax types (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, and other relevant taxes) on a monthly and annual basis;
- Ensure timely and accurate tax payments and filings in accordance with regulatory deadlines;
- Conduct reconciliations between tax reports and general ledger to ensure data integrity and compliance;
- Provide advisory support on tax-related matters, and regulatory changes.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies for tax audits, inquiries, or compliance matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local tax regulations, advising clients and internal teams on tax implications.
- Support business development initiatives, including tax risk assessments and identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients;
- Ensure financial records, books, and documentation adhere to legal and tax requirements;
- Lead or participate in tax-related projects, ad-hoc functions, and other assigned responsibilities;
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in tax-related matters.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tax/Accountancy/Finance;
- Brevet A & B is a plus;
- Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in the tax fields;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret tax laws;
- Detail-Oriented;
- Good Time Management;
- Reliable and accurate;
- Reconciliation;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
