We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Trustee Operations. Reporting to the Operations Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai-Andheri, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our AIF Operations and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Well versed with AIF regulation
  • Taking over the transaction once the documentation is complete and supervise the operations role of company. Able to handle team of four to five people 
  • To maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
  • Review of Trust deed / IMA from Operational point of view
  • Facilitating the preparation of MIS on monthly, quarterly and half yearly basis and presenting the same to the higher level of authority as Internal Authorities as well as SEBI as external authorities.
  • Responsible for Regulatory filings, SEBI QCR , TCR , FATCA Compliance. 
  • Advising to Fund Managers on the legal contractual agreements entered by the Funds, from operational perspective, Adhering to timelines of making investment, divestment and distribution of income and capital by the Fund
  • Managing all the transactions at operational level, involvement in defining and setting up operational process, 
  • Monitor, prepare and maintain books and records of Alternative Investment Funds
  • Ensuring Bank / Demat / Custody Account opening in coordination with Investment Manager 
  • Review and monitoring of Bank payouts, TDS payments, Mutual fund investments and other banking transactions
  • Review of reports submitted by Investment Manager to SEBI / to Trustee (QCR/TCR/CTR)
  • Ensure all the compliance requirements are fulfilled by Investment Manager including registration of SCORES / FATCA / PMLA etc, RBI requirements, KYC registration  
  • Responsible for AIF transaction database, MIS preparation
  • Review and signing of Annual Financials based on draft audit report and confirmation from IM that financials are in order. 
  • Knowledge on AIF taxation , uploading of Tax return, Form 64C , Form 64 D etc
  • Responsible for maintenance of AUM

  • Minimum 12-15 years working experience in operations.
  • Direct operational experience in jurisdictions with multiple Divisional lines
  • Strong track record in acting as a partner to senior management
  • Experience in change management; from idea inception to fully implementing changes proposed would be a distinct advantage
  • Any Bachelor’s degree, CA or MBA in Finance, Inter CA
