We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager. Reporting to the Associate Director – Funds, this full-time and permanent position is based in Jersey and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Private Equity Department and it’s growth.

 

Purpose of Role

 

Responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of a portfolio of clients within the Vistra Fund Solutions team including oversight of the day-to-day administration and supporting a team of administrators in delivering on client needs, identifying and resolving day-to-day operational issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory and AML/CFT requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and coordinate the administration of range of alternative funds, management
  • companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary
  • Process and co-ordinate routine and complex fund operations
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained and Vistra Fund Solutions policies and procedures (Local and Group) are adhered to
  • Ensure regulatory and statutory filings are made in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory and AML/CFT requirements
  • Act as a mentor to more junior staff (where applicable) including facilitating team development
  • Act as a C authorised signatory
  • Support and oversee the completion and implementation of key projects covering a wide range of activities including technology and regulatory
  • Represent the Vistra Fund Solutions team at key forums / committees including the Vista Business Committee in relation to new business

Relevant Experience

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of the Jersey governance and regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of alternative investment fund environment, including private equity and venture capital
  • Evidence of managing small to medium size client relationships or part of a major client relationship is desirable
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong organisational/prioritisation skills including established delegation skills to allow good relationships with colleagues and clients

 

Education and Professional Qualification

 

  • JFSC Category B, Table 4/ 5 qualification or equivalent
