Assistant Manager, Private Client

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Private Clients. Reporting to the Director, Head of Commercial, Private Clients China Private Wealth, this full time and permanent position is based in Shanghai/Beijing.
Requirements
1. Client Relationship Management
• Follow-up the trust establishment, starting from getting referral from partners to formally setup the trust.
• Work together with trust lawyers and tax lawyers and internally communicate with colleagues in compliance and trust management departments to facilitate with the trust establishment.
• Facilitate to fulfil trust related paperwork and documentation in a careful and patient manner.
• Develop and maintain strong long-term key clients’ relationships, understanding their needs and expectations, ensuring they are engaged in a professional and timely manner and capture the member-get-member opportunities.
• As a point of contact, face to face, verbal and written communication with clients, trust related parties on the most complex issues, in a professional and timely manner.
• In-depth knowledge of clients’ wealth and family circumstances being a source of formal and informal advice for trust related parties and clients where required.
2. Institutional Relationship Management
• Expand cooperative relationships with institutions, include but not limited to, tax advisors (big four), law firms, family offices, wealth management institutions, asset management companies, etc.
• Participate in forums, panels, and road shows to deliver presentations, sharing insights with potential clients and business partners.
3. Financial Management
• To deliver or exceed allocated New Business Revenue target.
4. Risk Management/Compliance
• Ensure licensed Vistra entities remain compliant with prevailing local and international legislation.
• Comply with compliance requirements and adapt to an AML/CFT culture.
5. People and Operational Management
• To maintain own fiduciary specialist knowledge as well as knowledge of products and those of the intermediary/wealth management market in general.
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree preferably in finance
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, preferably in professional or financial services industry
• Previous business development experience and proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Professional proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a must
• Ability to identify client needs and market trends
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal format
• Self-motivated and ability to think outside the box to solve client’s issues
