We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting. This role will be based in our Singapore office.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage, maintain and administer a portfolio of fund and corporate structures, including a variety of monthly/quarterly/yearly accounting and reporting deliverables
  • Prepare clients’ deliverables including quarterly/semi-annual/year-end management accounts, reporting packages schedules, sub-consolidations, budgets, NAV estimates, and draft financial statements.
  • Support the preparation of complex consolidations and investor reporting for multi-entity fund structures.
  • Prepare and review investor reporting deliverables, including capital account statements, pricing packs, balance sheet summaries, investor statements, return of capital schedules, and other fund-specific reporting packs.
  • Support capital calls and distribution, including computation, preparation of notices, and coordination of disbursement processing.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting and distribution timelines for client approval and internal tracking.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables and resolution of queries.
  • Manage client queries and ad hoc reporting requirements, ensuring responsiveness and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, variance analysis, and working papers required for quarterly and year-end reporting cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting procedure, and documentation standards.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and any ad hoc internal assignments as required.


Key requirements:

 

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accounting, or ISCA/ACCA/other equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Experience in fund accounting, consolidation, financial reporting or business outsourcing, preferably with exposure to private equity, real estate, or fund structures.
  • Experience in handling complex consolidations, investors reporting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Prior exposure to fund capital calls, distributions, NAV-related reporting, and multi-entity structures would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a Singapore CPA firm, fund administrator, or corporate services environment would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting platforms such as Yardi or similar systems would be advantageous.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude, strong initiative, credibility, and attention to detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under tight deadlines.
  • Resilient and able to work independently to organise and prioritise work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written, oral, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and respond effectively to demanding client requirements.
