We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Employer Solutions. Reporting to the Head of Global Service Centre, Greater China, this full-time and permanent position is based in China, Foshan and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Employer Solutions and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a portfolio of clients
  • Responsible for supervising a team of payroll associates/senior associates. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring their progress, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client companies, addressing their payroll-related queries, providing guidance on payroll processes, and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure accurate payroll processing; reviewing payroll reports, and identifying and rectifying errors or discrepancies.
  • Assisting in training new staff members and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for team members
  • Act as a trusted advisor for our clients
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by immediate supervisor 


Key requirements:

  • Colleague or above academic qualifications.
  • Having 4-5 years of relevant experience gained from professional services firm is an advantage
  • Written English and simple oral English
  • Able to provide coaching and guidance to other team members to ensure overall objectives are aligned and achieved 
  • Client service centric mind-set
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities and challenge status quo
  • High professional integrity
  • A good team player with strong communications skills
  • Meticulous attention to fine detail
  • Keen to work in a challenging, fast pacing and dynamic environment
