Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for full sets of accounts and bookkeeping for clients including but not limited to review of accounting entries, journals, financial statements and bank reconciliation.
• Provide Hong Kong Profits Tax and Salary Tax compliance service to clients such as preparing tax computation schedule, tax returns and replying tax-related queries with Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and tax authority on accounting, Hong Kong auditing, Hong Kong Profits tax and salary tax issues.
• Assist the team to achieve the business goal and financial objectives of the department.
• Review working papers prepared by subordinates and support manager in clients’ service delivery.
• Being the coach in providing support to subordinates and monitor their performance.
• Setup of accounting system and workflow for new clients
• Prepare various reports to fulfil clients’ business objective.
• Satisfy any other specific requirements of clients.
• Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisors / seniors

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or relevant disciplines
• Registered Member of HKICPA or equivalent for other association including ACCA, CPAA, CAANZ, ACA, and CIMA
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and auditing field, with experience in second-tier CPA firm or above is an advantage
• Relevant experience with professional firm
• Good Understanding of Hong Kong Taxation, Auditing and Accounting Practices and Compliance
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in various accounting software, such as NAVSAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc is an advantage
• Good problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and enthusiastic
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude
• A strong sense of ownership to complete deliverables in a practical and pragmatic approach
• Positive strong team player and willing to go the extra mile
• Ability to complete individual deliverables and communicate efficiently with different parties
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
