The Role

Would you like to deploy your legal expertise in a young, energetic, fast paced family?

Vistra is looking to recruit a Medior Legal Services Lawyer for our Corporate client portfolios.

You will report into the Manager Legal Services and provide a full range of legal advice and services. You coordinate and supervise the daily activities of junior corporate lawyers and act as a resource for colleagues and less experienced team members.

In your day to day activities you will work with a tight team of Legals working on the same portfolio as you are, along with dedicated financials and relationship managers. You will work together to ensure high client satisfaction, solve complex questions and provide a full range of corporate services. In addition you will be able to spar with experienced legals on other portfolio’s and expand your knowledge and grow together.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage client entities and corporate legal matters in accordance with Dutch corporate law and regulations:

• Preparation and/or review of resolutions, agreements, poa's and other documents related to legal transactions and coordination with third party service providers;
• Coordination, review and preparation of legal documentation for approval and adoption financial statements as well as coordination of assistance of auditor;
• Compliance risks are being identified and shared with Client lifecycle team;
• Timely and accurate professional daily management of client entities and corporate legal matters under supervision of a manager of Senior Legal Services Lawyer and in accordance with Dutch corporate law and regulations;
• Client files are being maintained properly, through timely and accurate drafted, reviewed and revised corporate legal documentation;
• Timely and accurate administration and coordination of deadlines of corporate legal matters in cooperation with Senior Legal Services Lawyer, or manager;
• Legal and fiscal aspects, queries and problems issues of client structures and proposed transactions are being identified and third parties are being consulted for advise if needed;
• Proactively identifying any potential (Director's) liabilities;
• Proactive and professional (verbal and written) communication with clients, shareholders, advisors and other relevant parties concerning legal matters;
• Professional business relationships with clients are built and managed;
• Monitoring and coaching Junior Legal Services Lawyers in their day to day job.

Qualifications and

Other Requirements

We are looking for a pro-active, persuasive new colleague, with a high focus on quality and client satisfaction. If you are the perfect candidate, you will have:

• Master in Law (Dutch Law with emphasis on company law, Notary law or Fiscal law)
• Experience in managing and advising (international) clients;
• Excellent command of the and English language, verbal and written;
• Sound knowledge of software packages, i.e. Microsoft Office;
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and legislation (Book 2, Title 9).
