Our opportunity for you
Purpose of the role
If you are curious about the Human Resource field and would like to work in a dynamic, international environment with a focus on quality improvement and change, then Vistra Netherlands offers a great opportunity for an HR Intern. This could be the chance for you to explore and gain hands-on experiences!
The ideal candidate is available 32-40 hours per week for a period of 5-6 months. The team is based in the Vistra Amsterdam office, close to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station. You will assist the HR team including the HR Director, two HRBPs, one HR Analyst and one Talent Acquisition Specialist. Vistra operates in a hybrid working environment so we provide you the possibility to work partially from home.
Key responsibilities
- Support the recruitment process from A-Z: reviewing resumes, perform screening calls, follow-up on interviews, perform reference checks via call/email;
- Support the onboarding journey;
- Work together with the sourcing team to screen and source candidates;
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and business partners throughout the application journey;
- Support in the optimization of processes, SOPs and Workflows;
- Support with audit requests: updating administration, ensuring missing documentation is created or registered.
- Support employees with their queries by answering the HR Mailbox;
- Support in creating slides, presentations and reports for the Management Team and other stakeholders;
- Ensure systems are updated and aligned.
Attributes & Skills
- Excellent language skills, both in Dutch and in English;
- Accurate, efficient and pro-active and can keep a good overview of tasks, deadlines and projects in a fast paced organization;
- Good stakeholder management skills;
- Good Microsoft Excel skills;
- Energetic, positive and driven personality.
Relevant experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate pursues Bachelor’s degree student in Human Resources, Applied Psychology or similar.
