Accounting Associate

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accounting Associate. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Department and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices on Viewpoint and effecting payments on a regular basis.
• Key finance contact for the AP process
• Recording of incoming funds from clients;
• Raising of customer invoices
• Performing bank reconciliation on a daily basis
• Liaise directly with auditors and internal or external clients as and when required to and resolve queries.
• Assist with statutory filings like VAT and TDS

• Petty cash management
  
  

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance sector
• Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues abroad

• Well organised, analytical and resourceful

• Partly qualified ACCA or degree in management, accounting or finance
