We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accountant. Reporting to the Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Private Wealth and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our [Department] and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Respond to client requests timely and effectively
  • Prepare periodic management accounts for client review and audit
  • Process accounting ledger transactions
  • Perform reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor and creditor   accounts
  • Prepare all necessary reports and analysis within agreed deadlines
  • Prepare and process VIES and VAT returns as required, and ensure payments are paid on time
  • Prepare monthly payroll as required, and ensure payments are made on time
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates for provisional tax returns, and review all clients on a periodic basis for changes in their tax position
  • Liaise with auditors and client during the audit process, and ensure all information is provided on a timely and accurate basis
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by team leaders and management

Additional responsibilities

  • To share knowledge and ideas within the team, helping to build stronger processes and contributing to the development of the Accounting Department and the company
  • Report to Team Leader regarding management of portfolio as required


Key requirements

  • Fluent in Greek and English;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently;
  • Solution oriented with strong analytical skills;
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Positive, flexible personality, easy to adapt to changes, willing to undertake new tasks
  • Strong team player
  • Knowledge of MS Office software
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Part-qualified ACCA / ACA or equivalent diploma in accounting
