We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accountant. This full-time and permanent position is based in Bulgaria (Sofia).

 

Accountant

 

The key of this role is to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures, to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety as well as to assist with the office marketing activities. Your duties:

  • Maintenance of the accounting records of Clients in accordance with local regulations
  • Preparation and submission of Client VAT returns and tax returns in accordance with local regulations
  • Registration and communication with the tax authorities in regard to on-going accounting or tax issues of the Client
  • Assisting in preparation of the Client’s financial statements in accordance with their specific requirements
  • Assisting in participating in month end, quarter end and year end closings. Maintaining good relations with Clients and identifying their needs and potential issues
  • Working on in-house accounting software and client software as well
  • Issuing sales invoices
  • Preparation of payment orders in client’s portal, processing payment approvals
  • Assisting in VAT recovery procedures
  • Supporting the Team Leads in other tasks

 

Perfect Candidates:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline
  • At least 2+ years accounting experience
  • Excellent command of English
  • Good computer literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with working on different ERP Systems
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Fast learning person, with a good eye for details
  • High motivation to achieve results and seek solutions
