We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional as Accountant and you will report directly to the Financial Manager.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the administration, bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements for various Luxembourg companies
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
  • Prepare interim accounts on behalf of the client as necessary
  • Liaise and interact with clients, other offices and client advisors, in order to prepare the
  • financial statements
  • Support the audit of financial statements (where required)
  • Support the preparation of VAT / CIT returns (where required)
  • Support the preparation of financial reports (LUX GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS) (where required)
  • Record the working hours/client in the time billing system according to the objectives set

 

Relevant experience: 

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance, (ACCA-qualified or part qualified would be a distinct
  • advantage)
  • Good knowledge of LuxGaap,(IFRS, Consolidation and/or USGaap would be an advantage)
  • 0-1 years of experience with a professional services firm
  • Good communication and organisational skills in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive with a client service orientated attitude
  • Ability for multiple tasks requested at the same time and set priorities
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team
